  Great business with great deals, and two of the one star ratings from same clientele? I know these people, they're great with helping you purchase furniture for great prices. I actually heard about you guys and the way i see it the business was in the right. What you guys were up to is a very popular and common scam people try on Craigslist all the time, so it was actually in the best interest of the business to not accept your cashier's check. You wanted to provide your "trust fund" cashier's check in full and only buy, let's say 3000$ , and then have the business give you the 4000$ back in cash from your 7000$ check. That makes no sense at all, its not another businesses job to cash your check for you. And as you'll claim, that it wasn't any sort of scam, why would you not cash your check yourself and then just pay the proper amount? Its a furniture store not a bank, and its not the furniture stores responsibility to cash your check for you. Unwarranted and unnecessary risk for them. Look it up, the bank will accept the cashier's check regardless if fake, only until weeks later you get a call saying it was fraudulent, so not knit do you lose all that furniture, but you also gave the person 4000$ cash. Nice try, don't be mad that they didn't fall for your bs. And like i said if it was legit, why not just cash your own check first? Not that difficult.
