Animal Emergency Center of Las Vegas and Henderson

This emergency vet experience was fast, efficient, and reasonably-priced. We drove from another side of town because they sounded on the phone like attentive, capable, intelligent professionals. When we arrived, that assessment was proven accurate. Communication was clear, all phases of the operation meshed smoothly, and pets were provided good medical care. They took our sick cat (with a urinary blockage), fixed him up without ruining our finances, and they did it with a smile. The vet himself spoke on the phone like a confident champion of furry babies, and although we never met him, we felt he genuinely put forth concentrated effort and possessed definite skill in his chosen field. Why did we drive so far and take a chance on this clinic? Because not all late-night vets are created equal. We tried others and were shocked at the disappointing result. By contrast, this team works together, listens to the client, and respects the patient. They did their job, saved our butts, and will have my support in the future.

Even though losing my cat was the most painful experience I have ever had in my life, I don't think I could have handle it without the kind and caring staff from this place. Our cat had recently visited our usual vet, and it was discovered she was extremely constipated. They gave us medicine and didn't see catch any other issues. 5 days later she had gone into extreme kidney failure with no chances of survival. This team did her blood work and offered every option possible, but with no guarantee of survival we thought it best to let her go despite her being a young cat. I forgot her name, but the wonderful lady who did the euthanasia was so sweet, loving and sympathetic to our broken hearts (my husband and I). I never felt rushed saying good-bye and I could tell they made her feel warm and comfortable. The private cremation was also much more heartfelt than expected, they took her paw prints, some of her fur and wrote a handwritten card. It made my heart feel a little better during this horrible event. I am so grateful to this animal hospital and appreciate everything they did for us.

We went in with our pup twice and they did a great job bringing her back to her rambunctious self. When we had to move her to another vet they referred us to Mountain Vista. Yes it was rather expensive but it’s emergency. Between the two vets they saved my pups life! Also, Angela is awesome.
