I think Dr Kwak-Tran is an awesome doctor. She's very caring and diligent. I always appreciated her warm personality. Above all, she really took my medical issues seriously and ruled out many conditions to help the specialists make specific diagnoses. Her assistants, Claudia and Nicole, were also very kind and respectful to me.
She's been my doctor for years, always fits me in, and takes the time to explain everything. She generally doesn't refill over the phone because she follows the rules stringently regarding prescriptions. Dr's get audited a lot these days, so they have to watch out. In addition, she wants to get the care right, not just throw a pill at you and hope you go away. I needed a specialist, and Dr. Kwak-Tran referred me to one because of my history and situation. She wanted the best for me and felt that an endocrinologist would provide better care. She's a great doc, highly recommend.
