  The Women Bible Study was there for me during a very dark and lonely time in my
  Life.
  I enjoyed giving back during Blessed Fest.

  Every year on Thanksgiving Calvary chapel hosts and event called blessed fest. Where they feed Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless and give them free resources. Also there is a school attached to the church. What I don’t like is that they use the gymnasium of the school as their main sanctuary. Not only that, but there is a dirt lot that sits close to the gymnasium with a sign for future plans of a new sanctuary building. The church has been promising to build the sanctuary for years yet not one piece of construction has done anything in that lot. To be fair, I do not know the responsibilities that the church has financially so I do not know why the sanctuary has been built. I really do wish they would build it soon though.

  Getting involved really builds relationships and I love it here. Our son goes to school here, I do bible study and precepts, and Church as well! We all go through struggles but its how we all work it out together - in Christ! I love Pastor Derrick because he READS out of the bible and really says what you don't want to hear - BUT YOU ARE CONVICTED and repent... love it, they are my family and I cannot see myself anywhere else. If you are looking for something pretty and well put together and honey to you ears, this is not the place. This is a church, in your throat, word for word from the bible, they send their congregation to countries that need Jesus!

  I was very involved & a long time attendee at a mega church. The time came where I was hungering for a community of spiritually mature believers that loved the Word. Found it here. Sermons are centered on scripture & I love the prayer throughout the service. The worship is humble and there are hands raised around the room. People here are passionate & genuine for the Lord. So grateful for this church that loves Jesus & loves people.
