My wife took a mobilty test, now she's waiting to be approved to use Para-transit for transportation
I had to do an assessment here to be able to get rides from this establishment for medical appointments. Very nice staff, drinking fountain available, bathrooms available. Very clean.
UPDATED 6/24/18: I disagree with those (same person by the way) saying staff is unwelcoming and unfriendly. THAT IS SIMPLY UNTRUE AND YOU KNOW IT!!! You originally could not say or do enough for this organization...until you were no longer welcome because you got caught telling delusional lies and making up really crazy stories. Also, you were completely enamored with the therapist and wanted to be just like her! Portraying yourself as knowing everything about everything and thinking nobody is as smart or good as you only shows what an idiot you are. FYI: trying to make yourself look good at others expense and thinking you're better than everyone is not a good look. You need to face reality that it's you that is the problem.
ORIGINAL POST: Gave me the tools necessary to live independently. Cannot say enough about Angela's House/Blind Connect and the wonderful services provided.
I love Blindconnect Angela's House. I learned a lot and it really build my confidence going through the program. It was dry at times and I wish it was a little better organised but the Pros really really really out way the cons. I would recommend Blindconnect to anyone who is looking to learn how to adjust to a loss in eye sight.
