“Pastor Vance has the Holy Spirit in his veins. U can just see in that man's eyes and read his heart that he is a GREAT MAN. He makes one want to follow in his path and be just like him. When your born and raised in North Las Vegas you can see and witness different qualities of life and the many ethnicities that can contribute to this town being called "Sin City." It is in fact the Devil's Playground. However sometimes in life all it takes for me anyways, is some GOOD music that comes from the heart and a GOOD Sunday service to restore my faith in Humanity. Pastor Vance and the other's have an easy way of doing that through this GREAT CHURCH called HOPE. BTW... For the record, I'm not the most cleanest Christian perfect guy out there and I used to be a big scumbag but this church and The Crossing, along with other GOOD CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS, are helping me to see the light and be the man that GOD, my father, mother, friends, and myself would like to be.”

“My wife and I attended the 4:30 pm Saturday mass (09/22/18) and I came away from the service feeling a sense of uplifting, satisfaction and joy! (If you don't have time to read my whole review, the short is - this is a "Highly Recommended" church to attend for Sunday mass if you are looking for a Catholic church!) This was our first time attending this church and being that St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite Catholic church, I'll be honest, I really had no idea what to expect. Would the mass be two hours long? Would it be something new that I had not encountered or experienced? Not one minute after walking in and sitting down did I realize that I was in a true Catholic church, no different that the countless others I have attended throughout my life all over the world! There were slight differences in presentation but at the very core, it was a Catholic mass through and through! The choir was great and the songs were familiar. It reminded me of other masses I attended when I was younger back in the 80's and 90's and this church felt very comfortable. We plan to return and make this our parish. Surprisingly, there are only three (3) masses on the weekends at this church - 4:30 pm in English on Saturday and 9:30 am in English, 11:30 am in Arabic on Sunday. If you are a Catholic passing through or visiting Las Vegas and want to attend a mass that isn't crowded, lasts about an hour and is in a very accessible location close to I-15 (southeast of South Point Casino,) go ahead and stop by St. Sharbel. You won't be disappointed!”

Epiphany is a new (12 year old) parish so they actually seek and serve God without the distraction that an old facility often brings. Protestant-leaning Christians will be gladdened too that Epiphany is undistracted by institutional blight as the Episcopal diocese has a "help-only" policy for its few churches which, like Epiphany, are alive and growing.”

No one asks for money, no one gets paid, and even if they don't know some things, they try their best to accommodate without asking questions. If there ever was heaven on earth, this is where it'd be. This is truly where a person can find piece, happiness, and answers in the most unlikely of places. It is really easy to become a huge part of the church, especially through the small groups. Every time I go away, I never find a church quite like it. They have a great worship team, and make the experience really enjoyable. One of the best things is that the pastor is always walking around and connecting with others as an individual. “A wonderful church family. I am now a parishioner which I wasn't but when I was in the nursing home they are the ones who minister to me. I used to belong to another Parish who never offered to come to my home to pray with me or bring me Holy Communion. But as soon as I joined Saint Anthony of Padua one of the Eucharistic ministers spoke to me over the phone asked me if I wanted someone to come and she comes to visit me once a week. Being homebound I appreciate that so much I have no words to explain”
