All through the process, from the initial diagnosis to hospital discharge, he was prompt, courteous, and willing to answer any and all questions. Never once did we feel rushed or that our questions were too simple. He explained everything, suggested we get a second opinion, and took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable. He wasn't quick to suggest surgery, first trying bracing and using surgery only as a last resort. He often had medical students or residents with him during appointments, showing he enjoys teaching others a very specialized craft. He truly cares about his patients and their families.
