“Serena was patient and kind. Her voice is soothing. She helped me retrain my mind. It is an amazing process to witness and be a part of. I have been struggling with weight for many years. I always knew it was a mind over matter issue but did not know a way to retrain my mind. Serena taught me we needed to find the root of the problem and why my mind made me think the way it did. Next we dealt with other issues that blocked me. Finally she made suggestions to help me. Since going to see Serena, I have been eating healthier and walking on the treadmill. It is a slow process but I am happier each day. When I want to eat, I read or walk. Thank you so much for helping me conquer my problems!”

“The school itself is about average, but the teachers are a different story. Depending on whether you are chosen to be put in accelerated classes or not changes the experience you have learning. From my experience so far, I’ve heard of teachers who are at the quite low end of the spectrum who teach ‘developmental’ classes (Which I have heard before was the name for regular classes). But I’ve learned from teachers who actually want to help you succeed in accelerated classes, you get them if you show the potential and ability of wanting of learn (Or selecting an elective that promotes college readiness and AP classes such as AVID). If you are looking into this school to spend a good couple of years with, hope for AP classes or I wish you good luck in developmental.”

“I have to say this is a good school. it's my first year here and it's really easy to find classes. Most of the teachers are nice. I like the schedule set up. Good job for that. It gets really crowded to the point you get pushed during hours like lunch. Going up the stairs in the morning is tiring to. That's all I have to say.”

“This is a great school in Clark County. The staff seem to have things under control, and pretty efficiently at that. Teaching staff is underpaid and overworked, but there are some teachers who enthuse their students every year and teach far more than just their class topics in the process. Mr. Kellermann in Band comes to mind right away, but there are quite a few others as well. Public schools are not dead. They may be challenged, but this school is one that delivers, and I am glad that my kids get to go there.”

“If I could give her anything higher than 5 stars, I would. I had the pleasure of establishing a professional relationship with her, in the Fall of 2015, as one of her CSN voice students, and that quickly turned into an awesome friendship. Lillian so naturally fosters well-rounded relationships with her students and colleagues, and always provides so much laughter. She takes a genuine interest in you, and always manages to make each lesson greater than the last. With that being said, she means business. She's an instructor first, and will always have your best interest at heart. So, when it comes to your academic and personal progress, she won't shy away from pointing out where you need to pick up the slack. However, she's never ill-intended or haughty; she will tell it like it is, with respect and sincerity. In all my years of working under, and alongside, any kind of musical authority, she's the one who's left a lasting impression. She's very sweet in nature, and always ready to give her all so that you succeed. She constantly has students coming back to say hello or offer their help, because she bridges the gap between instructor and student. She possesses a beautiful voice, and heart. I feel she's prepared me significantly more, and has strengthened my abilities. I'm happy to say she's a lifelong friend.”

“I was the class of 1999/2000 and I have so much nostalgia when looking back on Mrs Hauser's kindergarten class. I was reading at an advanced level by the time I graduated. What a great time to be a kid.... Times may have changed, but my memories will last forever. Thank you, Katz Elementary. ”

“The Staff at building blocks was very kind to the children. My son started in the 3's class with Mrs Messiah and she loved her kids and was very sweet to them:)My son loved her... and Mrs. Amy was so amazing! What a passion for having these kids learn!! My son learned so much in her class, he knew his ABC'S, he knew his numbers to 100, and he could recite the vowels and all the pledges. They also have the cutest graduation ceremony you ever saw for the 4 yr olds going into Kindergarten. They get to wear caps and gowns... Too cute for words! The place was always clean and my son was happy when I picked him up every day!! Love this place and wish my son could still come!!”
