“Sunrise Mountain High, has definitely had a bad wrap. BUT please do not listen to the harsh remarks towards this school! Yes, last year it became a turn around school. This decision perhaps is what makes the school so great as it stands today. Since the turnaround, our sports divisions such as track and field and soccer have won either a runner's up award and also other high titles. As far as academics, prior the turnaround our school was known for one of the worst graduation rates in the whole entire school district. Since then, our standards at the school have been raised and we are maintaining to do our best in state tests, assessments, and also High School Proficiency examinations. The atmosphere here is also really good. So far this year they're haven't been any fights! The faculty and staff are more than helpful and everything is just great! ”

We recently moved and I make the commute for my daughter to remain at Whitney.”
