All I can say is he is AWESOME!
Took the time to listen and will probably help my dad with his Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Munoz has been the Primary physician to both me and my husband for years. He has always been kind and considerate but above that, he's an excellent listener. Over the course of years, there have been many times when I'm certain I have tested his patience by forgetting to get things done at all much less by the promised date but he gently perseveres, never getting angry or giving up on me and because HE cares so much, I eventually get whatever it is taken care of. I have several issues that he's seen me through, cancer being one of the worst. Nasty insurance being another! Dr. Munoz went to bat for me and never abandoned me as I'm sure the insurance company hoped he would. He is not only a damn good doctor who is continually increasing his knowledge but he is a fine example of what most mother's want in their children as adults...honesty, reliability, strength of character and integrity. If you're looking for a Primary Physician, you'll be hard pressed to do better than this one.
UPDATE: 3/10/18 - Sadly, Dr. Munoz is no longer there...nor is his excellent replacement, Dr. Agustin. I was coldly informed in no uncertain terms that they ALSO would no longer accept my Insurance and I should have gotten a letter from the Insurance Company informing me of that but no, THEY hadn't bothered to send one OR pick up a phone. I've been their patient for...idk, seven...ten years? After some frantic conversation, I was able to get the address and phone number of a "sister" clinic where we could get in, ALL the way across town, of course! Seriously, I don't know that they could've treated us worse if they'd sat down and planned it out. It's a real shame to go out like this. The Office Team needs to review how they treat outgoing patients. Just because we're not going to be "your" patients anymore doesn't mean you should treat us with any less respect.

Saved my husband's life not once but twice. I am now very ill. I would drive cross country to see him if I could find him. I really believe he is the only one who can help me.

Compassionate care. This was my 1st visit, and my sister came along. She is my caregiver since illness made working impossible for me last year. So dynamics are clear. My sister was asking for more tests, etc, but Dr. Munos quickly honed in on my needs, expectations vs my sisters view of it all. He was very good at giving me hope in the many options he had in mind for me. I was pleasantly surprised, as all my other docs had the attitude like youre dying, cant fix you, sorry. While he didnt improve the long term prognosis, he did have quite a few symptom releiving meds and gave me and sis time to deliberate, and make a somewehat educated decision. I highly recommend this doctor/group. Very good at what they do!
