  Very cool. Nice staff, down to earth. Food prices reasonable, truck parking. I'll be back. Dropped 400 bucks, but I had fun and the staff made all the difference.

  For being as old as this property is it has been pretty well kept. The carpet could us a little updating but aside from that it was a great environment, the employees were surprisingly nice and attentive and I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in any line. I really liked how the representative that issued us the players club card was informative on exactly how the free play worked and how to earn.

  Room was clean, good size for 4 guests. Didn't hear any of our neighbors. No loud guests roaming the hallways. I like that they had the the room area accessible by room key only so there were no random people roaming the hallways. If you're attending events on Fremont and don't want to pay high prices, this place is good to stay at. They also have a galaxy theatre in the casino is a great theatre with reclining seats.

  Stopped in for breakfast at the Victory Cafe. He walked in the doors the first thing I noticed is it was much cleaner then I thought it might be. Nice high ceilings floors were very clean and no thick cloud of smoke that a lot of casinos welcome you with. Our server Mae was the best waitress either me or my brother had had in Las Vegas in several years. We told the manager and you could tell that she had heard it before. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast it was enough food to last me all day and into the next morning. My brother had the French toast and was also very satisfied. Portions were large and food quality was excellent. Plus the aforementioned service made for a 5-star experience. Good job Cannery! Keep up the good work.

  My friends came from California just to celebrate my birthday. So I wanted to go somewhere where I knew the food was good but that wouldn't put a big squeeze on their budgets. I had been to the Canary once before and had enjoyed lunch there so I checked their dinner prices and off we went. And boy were we happy we did!! The choices were so varied that picking was a little hard. But when we did it was SO good!! Everything!! Each of us three chose a different cuisine, and we shared, and then went back, and then went back for an unbelievable dessert. The whole time being waited on by some really nice waiters who kept our drinks full and our plates clean and most importantly kept us supplied with napkins. All I know is I can't wait to get visitors again so I can take them to the Buffet at the Cannery.
