“I have to say, this is my favorite school ive gone to. The teachers are great, the food is decent, and the place is really clean. The children do need to be watched over more, I find myself getting pushed over in the halls for no particular reason.”

“John is an elite, exceptional leather craftsman. And like many leather craftsman, he is niche oriented and very particular about style and what he will and will not do. He will do fancy, but not Hollywood style gun rigs. I am good with this. I'd rather work with a specialized niche than a jack of all trades type gun rig maker. The quality of the products are superb. I have been in his shop, I have handled and sampled many of his items. Very traditional looking and feeling. And his prices beat everyone else's (at same or similar quality). His carved leather products (don't own, but have seen) are amazing and his prices on these items are unmatched. I wished I lived on a ranch or in the outdoors as I would own a couple items. Great stuff. Most of the time, I prefer my rigs to be more on the competition / Hollywood side. John's stuff is more practical, more maintainable, adjustable and more suited for the field. If I could go back to the late 1800's or live on a ranch, John's rigs would be my go to.”

“We had an awesome time on our cruise. My aunt brought us out here during our first Vegas trip and it was so different than everything else around. The lake is beautiful and the Hoover Dam is very impressive. All the info you get on the cruise is nice and we had a beautiful day as well.”

“Cool place, food was great! Have to pay $25 to get down into Lake Mead though, so budget accordingly. Prices were good and taxes were low. Server was a doll.”

“I was only here for a few minutes on our way through, but it seems like a really popular place. A lot of folks were stopping here on their way to work and a lot of the pumps were being used. Trust the locals, you know? We used the bathroom. Very clean. Got snacks. The lady at the register was super nice to my little girl.”

“Gas is cheap, but lines are long. Has Frazil & St. Louis Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes! Sea salt caramel ooey gooey cake is Amazing! Bon Appetit cheese berries danish is really good. Look Out pecan pie isn't very good. Dirty, smelly bathrooms. Long lines for gas/toilet/cashier. Good selection of store items, but inventory varies.”

“Took the family on a hike today. It was very enjoyable. I am an avid hiker, and on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give this one a 2 in difficulty, and a 6.5 in scenery. Definitely some nice shots. I will come back.”

“This is a lovely short hike, and with all the rain we've had recently, the waterfall was going quite nicely. Even in the driest of times, the trail goes through a riparian (stream) area, and there's actually a small wetlands there, complete with boardwalk so that we visitors don't destroy it. This was a ranger-led hike, which I haven't often done, and which was a very different feel. I liked it. The ranger talked about the history of the area, some of the plants, and how the pictographs were made. He probably talked about a lot of other things as well, but I ended up getting there late and missed the first part of the hike. This is a short hike, as I said, but it's actually fairly challenging terrain. You have to climb through and over lots of rocks, and under trees. It can be done easily in less than an hour, and kids would love it. There are a couple of informational plaques, and you can either hike in and out along the same route or take a different route back, making it a circle.”
