  A lot of hiking trails that interconnect. Good for bikes and horses. Easy to get to.

  Great place to stop on the way to Mt Rose Ski Area during the winter. The staff was helpful with restaurant ideas and other things to do in this area. Zip lining in tahoe was he bomb

  It's situated off the mt. Rose hwy, just enough to be accessible without feeling like you are four wheeling. It is also a great park and hike location I found out. So if you are looking for some outdoor activities to enjoy locally, or if you are just on your way through and want a nice free option to enjoy, I think you will be pleased.

  This place is absolutely beautiful. Definitely need to stop on your way to tahoe.

  Nice place to start off for going on the trails. They have a small gift shop inside. They do not sell food, but there is a gas station down the street.
