  General transmission rebuilt the transmission in my 01 Excursion last month. They did a great job with the upgrade. They are extremely friendly, explain everything they’re doing in detail, and they are meticulous and make sure that everything is working perfectly. They stand behind their work.

  I have emailed them twice and they didn't bother responding.
  
  Things are changing. I was contacted by Ricky Ross of General Transmission and he was horrified. Apparently my mail was going into their spam filter and they were not seeing it.
  
  We have since communicated and General is putting a transmission in my Jeep. The service, once we hooked up has been superb.
  
  I look forward to getting my Jeep back.
  
  Revision to my revision. They had the Jeep ready in just a couple days and it runs great. I just wish they worked on other things...like fixing my fence. ????

  Very friendly, professional staff. Richard explained exactly what was wrong with my car and gave me options oh how to fix it. Most importantly, they were very honest, which is hard to find these days. Highly recommended!

  I took my older Ford diesel to General Transmission and they did a great job. They did a complete rebuild with some upgrades and my truck is much more enjoyable now. The people are knowledgeable, nice and had good referrals for other work I'm having done to the truck.
  I will definitely use this shop again if I need drive-train work done.

  He went above and beyond to make sure my car was properly fixed the right way. When in need Bob made sure I could use a company rental to get around for my work week & seemed like he really cared about my needs. I'm really big in customer service and just for his patience and friendly attitude I would be back no doubt.
