Shell

This gas station / food mart is located on the east side of South Virginia Street just south of the intersection with South Meadows Parkway (perhaps a quarter-mile). While the gas station itself is 24/7, the food mart does have open hours / closed hours. Nice feature: the soda fountain has add-in flavors: cherry, vanilla, etc. Nice touch. Grab and go type food -- hot dogs, fresh sandwiches -- are available every day but Sunday (it seems).

My employer issued me a gas card for Shell, otherwise I would probably go elsewhere because their prices always seem somewhat higher than most other stations. They usually keep the trash cans empty, the receipt rolls full and the pumps in working order. The location is very convenient. The air pump is a newer programmable style, supposedly to prevent overfilling a tire, but it only accepts plastic cards, no coins or currency. A smog check station is also on site. I have used the car wash several times without incident and I have purchased gas here for my personal vehicle.
