“We had the best time last night! This place is so fun. We bought tickets to see John5 for $35 and reserved a table before hand. They kindly upgraded us to VIP for an extra $20 - money well spent!! We had a dedicated server, Amanda, she was Awesome! Made great recommendations, was on top of our drinks and food when we stepped outside between bands. We had the artichoke dip(a little too spicy for hubby but I Loved it) with freshly fried tortilla chips. Had the black& blue Brussel sprouts and the kitchen sink pizza- Absolutely delicious!!! We tried an IPA, Amber, and a brown nut- fabulous beers on tap. The service was sooo good! We could tell the entire staff was well trained and prepared for this event- good job!!We went for John5 but we'll be back to eat again- the food was really good 👍”

“I just stopped in for a chicken burrito to go. The place looked clean and well decorated. The service was quick. I'm not sure I received the correct order. I ordered the chicken super burrito but I did not read the description very closely. I received a meal consisting of rice and beans and a sauced, chicken filled tortilla which had a ton of chicken in it but nothing else. It was more like an enchilada. I had to eat it sitting, with a knife and fork. I was hoping to drive and eat. It was good, just not what I expected.”

“Had the most wonderful experience. We came here after seeing the line for Toucan Charlie’s. We decided to splurge and it was totally worth it. From the hot sanitizing hand towels, to the attentive but not overwhelming service and even some chocolates while we signed the check. Our server, Alain was so sweet and we could feel he genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves. His assistant Zaria and the girl she was training, Kim, did a wonderful job at making sure all our needs were met. The food was really great- we got Lobster max and cheese, bacon scallops, and the cheese board. For entrees we got sea bass, lobster and the ribeye steak. All cooked wonderfully.”

“Wife and I came here on date night. We have been talking about it for some time now. I had the lamb shanks and she had the short ribs. Food was absolutely amazing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. If I had any complaints they are very small but here they are. Server had way too many tables to be extremely attentive to any one table. Next complaint would be the one I always have but will always bring my own bottle. $35 for corkage just seems to be extreme. They take the cork out and pour our first glass. We pour the rest. All in all we absolutely loved the place.”

I reluctantly decided to go inside with my husband because I just don't particularly like a traditional breakfast or Diner/home style restaurants. However, the food here at Peg's was absolutely fantastic! I was really surprised to see such a varied menu with selections for practically everyone from the meat & potatoes type eaters to vegetarians/ non-meat eaters like me, to those who are more diet conscious. One would be hard pressed to not find something that would work for them here. The meals are quite nicely portioned, completely appetizing & well served. The Staff was also warm, inviting, accommodating & right on top of things. I highly recommend this little hidden gem & will definitely visit here again next time we're in Reno.”

“Great little hole in the wall Mexican joint. No table service, almost completely self serve. Order from the menu board on the wall, get your drinks and sit. Be prepared for the interior. It is clean but very small. I saw a fire department sign for 25 occupancy but counted only 16 chairs around tables and a small alcove. We really enjoyed the chips and salsa. Both chips and salsa were fresh made and very tasty. Salsa is more in the salsa fresca vein than hot salsa. The wife and I both ordered tacos. Very good. We will go back and try other offerings.”
