Located in an out-of-the-way, short strip mall behind Albertson's, it's not positioned for tourist trade; we found 3 sheriff's cars parked out front at the last visit. Good, inexpensive food, clean establishment, friendly service. Caveat: The beef tacos were a little weak; everything else is very good. Great self-serve salsas and pickled carrots. Grab lots of napkins, these tacos are drippy messy.”

I suggest you get there just before they open to get in line. If you are not a huge fan of barbecue sauce just let them know so that they can ease off when scooping over the top. “Wow!!! Totally packed for Friday lunch. Was able to grab seat at bar. Server was prompt and took care of me quickly. Nice menu to choose from with Chicago specialties. It was made well and presented for bar food. Joe introduced himself personally and chatted a little Chicago Bears football. The personal touch of owner along with atmosphere will keep guests coming back. I wasn't offered a second beer and the video poker machines weren't very kind, but otherwise will make trip here again. Well done. Good to see someone break away from cookie cutter video poker lounge and food menu. Customer service is alive and well here... Keep up the good work.”
