“I've been doing business with Laker Plaza for years and find Dave to be as genuine as any individual. A heart of gold, however, not a man to be taken advantage. As long as people say and do what is expected, Dave will go out of his way to help. I've seen him give fishing poles to children so they can enjoy their day on the lake. He has offered a cold drink to one who may not be able to afford one. Understanding that he is running a business and has rental agreements on the spaces he rents and only expects those who rent from him to respect the contract and his property, does not seem too much to ask. Subtle, yes; but not without his conviction to the business. Seven days per week and long hours, yet Dave is there to serve the public. A little respect for him is not too much to ask.”

“Great bike hire shop, right on the 10.5 mile marker of the river mountain loop. They loaned me a bike in as new condition, were helpful showing me the route supplying a map and showing places to stop etc. Even gave me two bottles of water for the bike and a free soda when I dropped it back. The river mountain loop is a fantastic traffic route, with amazing views of the mountains, Vegas and lake mead. I took the recommended clockwise route to avoid the steep climb in the first few miles for the more gradual climb”

The ambience of the area makes it great for dates or hanging with family! This will be an excellent place when the weather is warmer! Best of all, the gelato was delicious! Definitely recommend!”

“What a Great night out! So much fun! Go early and relax by the water, maybe have a picnic on the waterside and play some games they have set up for you. Make sure to get creative with decorating yourself with all the glow sticks they give you... so fun! Then the paddle out under the stars sipping on a cocktail and listening to the floating DJ, so cool. Paddle at a good speed and you have more time to relax and watch the show. And then pizza at the end was a Great bonus! I will be getting friends together to do this many more times!!!!”

“I cannot tell you how impressed I was working with Jared and the staff at Showboy. I refuse to go to Freed's. Overpriced and average. Showboy? Spectacular and some of the best cake my wedding guests have ever had. Their words but you could see it on their faces. I ordered a wedding cake, a Groom's cake, personalized sugar cookies with my engagement photo on them, and two gluten free cupcakes. Their prices were so competitive and for the talent and artistry I got, I cannot rave about them more. I did most of my planning through email with Jared. I never stepped into the shop although my bridesmaid and one of my groomsmen picked up cakes on different days and had very easy and pleasurable experiences with the staff. I was able to pay for everything over the phone and everything was a hit. I no longer need to worry about where to go to get my custom cakes made. I am a customer for life. And if I can figure out how to upload pictures of everything, I will!”
