A very kind older lady helped me sort out an insurance confusion that the Rainbow location could not figure out and I’m appreciative of her effort. She did not rush me nor give me the sense that I’m not worth her time. She worked with me until they were almost closed. This year, the process has been smoother because of their software update. Anna allowed me to choose my glasses without any pressure, and helped me get two glasses instead of one. She didn’t want me wasting my insurance benefits and she was right. Once the glasses arrived, Juan made sure that my glasses fit right and adjusted my glasses before I went home. I appreciate the effort of these people in ensuring that my glasses are not only functional but also comfortable.”

“Waited 2 1/2 years to write this review. Bought a truck for my son and wanted to make sure it was a good purchase - and it was! In 2019, I brought my son here to look for a vehicle. He'd just graduated high school and I wanted to get him a car or truck. Our salesman was Manny Q and we liked him. He seemed like a genuinely nice and not pushy. Manny showed us a few vehicles and we took some vehicles for a test drive. My son and I both liked a Ford F-150 - it was a beautiful truck, low mileage and as far as we could tell, it had a good engine. We did all the paperwork that day and were to come back the next day to pick up the truck. The following day, we returned with my husband and a couple grandkids, to pick up the truck. Now the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 - the truck had not been washed or otherwise cleaned for us. I was a little disappointed with that, given that I'd just purchased a $25,000 truck from this dealership and they hadn't even bothered to make it look pretty for us? I mean, they had an extra day to at least hose it down. Back to the truck, it has been a wonderful vehicle for my son. It only had a minor issue with the 4x4 switch, but other than that, no engine problems whatsoever. It's been 2 years since we bought it and it not only still runs great, it's still a beautiful truck. No regrets with this vehicle purchase.”

“This is a beautiful mansion with a very interesting history from the height of the gold and silver mining era. Lots of Victorian furnishings, a few which are original. There is an original painting of the mansion which played an important part in its history which has been recovered. Lovely grounds and picnic tables too! Washoe County did a great job restoring the mansion and making it available to the public”

I remembered that I had a gift card that was sent to me from Scrubtastic and I was able to use it towards my Purple Label Healing Hands scrub pants that I bought today. I previously made visits here to purchase a watch and another time to purchase scrub pants... all three times, I've came.. they were very much helpful when I needed the help and of course, warned me about the return policy as I never can decide on what I really want & always on a budget. Lol. I appreciate it because it does make my purchasing choices easier and I appreciate the clean fitting rooms. Did I mention that I also appreciate that the employees do greet you, ask if you need help, and most of all, actually let you shop without feeling like some thief. Thank you. “I think the most important thing to call out about Chikyu is that you don't need to be Vegan or Vegetarian to enjoy this place. If you consider yourself a fan of sushi, Chikyu is a must if you're in Las Vegas. The flavor profiles we've experienced in the various rolls at Chikyu have been unlike anything I've had elsewhere, in a very good way! One of the biggest differences between vegan sushi at Chikyu compared to other places where I've had vegan sushi, is that Chikyu isn't trying to recreate classic sushi rolls with vegan ingredients. You can find places already doing that, but Chikyu takes things in a different direction by getting WAY more creative with their ingredients and flavor profiles. I keep telling myself I'm going to get something besides sushi next time I go there (can't wait to try their Ramen), but the sushi rolls at Chikyu are each their own delicious work of art. It really is beautiful food that also tastes incredible. Like all other traditional sushi rolls, the food at Chikyu is very filling. Don't think that just because it comes out looking like a work of art that it won't fill you up. Both times I've gone there I've probably ordered a little too much, simply because everything looks so good, and then ended up not being able to finish it all. Luckily, their rolls are just as good the next day. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. I love supporting small restaurants like this, and they're always so friendly when we come. Again, if you love sushi, forget about the fact that this place is all vegan and just go there to enjoy some amazing new takes on sushi!”

“This Wingstop was great! Food was on-point and pickup was a breeze. We ordered online and picked up in the store. Our go-to sauces are the Hot, Parmasean Garlic, Lemon Pepper and BBQ. So, so good! Gotta get the bone-in crispy, and get them wet (extra sauce)! Fries and sauces (ranch, blue cheese etc...) are extra. The food was all great. Cooked excellent. The location on this store is great since it's so close to I-15. We ordered online, it took 20 minutes, and then we had it in time for the road. The area of the Arts District is unique. I haven't experienced it enough to speak about it entirely but it seemed to be lots of great art and gentrification in the area. Fairly safe. Can't complain tho! All in all, a great experience with some tasty wings! Prices are solid too!”

“GourMelt is everything little highschool amateur chef me dreamed of doing some day. When you open a little, independent shop dedicated to just grilled cheese sandwiches, you really have to be creative and innovative. GourMelt is exactly that. I was equal parts baffled and excited by the recipes on their menu. There were toppings like orange-cranberry sauce, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sauerkraut, and apples… on grilled cheese sandwiches! Back in the day, I actually did try to make a grilled cheese sandwich with apples on it, but I only tried once so I never perfected a recipe. With that in mind, naturally I had to order The Bumble Brie, with sliced green apples, ham, honey, and melted Brie cheese on sourdough bread. If that doesn’t sound good to you, you’re missing out because it was an absolutely fantastic sandwich. I love the fact that this sandwich shop exists, but more than that, I love that it tastes so good.”

We started with lobster bisque a d the bread. We were served a sorbet and champagne pallet cleanser that was delicious and a nice treat in between courses. I got a prime rib and my company got the ribeye steak. We didn't have room for dessert, but next time I'm definitely going to try something!”
