After two months of pining over the loss of my ‘01 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s tired factory 4.0 IL6, it has been brought back to life!
Still ironing out a few quirks of an aging, 18 year old with 200k+ miles of experience, vehicle, but the new 4.6 stroker you built has created an invigorating driving experience.
The power behind the launch seems effortless and the acceleration, brisk and SMOOTH. The balance and precision of construction is very evident in the almost subdued growl as the rpms climb. I have very much enjoyed the responsiveness of the throttle and already has me yearning for 62mm throttle-body upgrade.
The care and quality in every step of the transaction process from concept (me finding your site), to purchase, to construction, to break-in and testing, to shipping have felt world-class and personable.
The team at the installers shop were quite impressed by quality of construction and subsequent “test-driving”.
It was remarked to me that it was a joy to install and drive and were gracious in my choosing of their shop to install.
I must admit, however, it was a tough sell to my wife going forward in purchasing from you. Hopefully she sees the joy it brings me and thus ease her financial jitters.
I’ve done the first oil change at 500 miles and am now upgrading the brakes on my ‘01 Jeep WJ to help balance the extra power!
It may sound silly and a tad superficial but I, once again, feel whole having my Jeep back, better than ever.
