Benson's park is so beautiful. They really take care of this place. They have a dog park, a kids playground, many benches and picnic tables. There are many trails for all levels. Picturesque views and nice fishing pond.
Utilized the trails for a great hike. I had been here as a kid, and again after it reopened, but didn't realize just how many trails there are. Did the big loop today. The trail was solid and wide throughout. What a gem.
Gorgeous park. It was very busy for early spring so I can't imagine what it would be like in full bloom but it was quite large and it did not disappoint. ???? lots of families and trails with a beautiful pond and places to observe wildlife.
Great trails, a haunting 9/11 Memorial, amazing green spaces, and beautiful sunsets. This is a peaceful, serene place to enjoy the outdoors. It's a great place to bring the family or go for a great walk or run. The landscaping is beautiful and there are wild rabbits in many places. The family loves going to unwind and ditch the stress. It's well worth the trip.
This place is amazing. Perfect for a nature walk where you can bring your family and pets. This place used to be a zoo but is now a nice park where you can take your dogs for a good walk. They have a few blinds as well for those wanting to get up close and personal with wildlife without disturbing them. If you are looking for a day with the kids but do not want the hassle of a beach day traffic or need a new place to let that puppy run off all that energy, Benson's should be on the top of your list.
