  This place is so great. If you don’t know much about yoga this is the place to go. Very helpful and hands on. I’ll recommend to all my friends.

  I have been taking regular classes here for about 7 months now. What a positive experience its been for me. All the people I've met, Instructors or other members have been so nice, always eager to share their experiences as well. I definitely recommend JOY to anyone looking to continue their practice, or start learning about yoga.

  Jennifer is a master of her art. I've been to several massage therapists for muscular pain and where I thought I knew all that massage therapy had to offer, I was mistaken. Jennifer takes it to another level, more rewarding, more success, and without the 'pain' of other therapists. I was under the impression that the pain is necessary (muscle snapping, pressure in the base of the head) was required to achieve the results I desired. Jennifer proved all of that wrong. The most tenacious muscle pain can be worked and remedied under her skillful hands in a way that both brings the results you want/need without the painful methods other therapists rely on, and with a relaxing experience you will enjoy. She's not doing simply what she was taught in a textbook. She brings all the results textbooks teach, but she brings them in a way that will make you count down the days until your next appointment in anticipation.
  
  I'm a middle aged man that has been to countless therapists for migraines and pain associated with neck/shoulder pain and tension. If she could help me after decades of headaches and pain, she can help you. Even the deep tissue and muscular based massages I request for my condition are quite relaxing, yet with results I have never had with anyone else in her trade.
  
  I haven't had a migraine, or a even a headache due to tension or other muscular pain since I walked through her door. I don't know how she's not so busy she doesn't have time for me, but I'm thankful, and lucky she does. I urge you, if your reading this, call her, and allow yourself to find what your looking for.   J.O.Y. is my home away from home-- a safe spot to practice yoga, meditate, and to be myself. I'm so glad that I found Jennifer and all that she has to offer! I've loved every class I've taken at the studio, as well as the classes and monthly women's circles. My husband and I had foot soaks with Shauna and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I'm also currently a student in the yoga teacher training and it's enriching my life...I highly recommend it! If you're looking for a yoga community that makes you feel at hOMe...Journey Om Yoga is the place to be.

  I stumbled upon JOY by accident through google when I was looking for a yoga studio to begin my practice. I had never done yoga before- ever- and did not partake in other fitness classes so was very nervous my first class. I can't fully explain the feeling I had when I left but it was somewhere between enlightened and delighted. I was welcomed by the fellow students and by the instructor (owner) Jennifer. I couldn't wait to go back. It felt like a safe space I could finally explore myself and my body without the setting of a crowded gym. It is so much more than just yoga, it truly is a full wellness center focusing on the spirit and mind just as much as the body. I have been attending joy 1-5 times a week for the past year. I attend almost every workshop and have gotten multiple massages. It changed my life and I'm forever grateful!!! If you're hesitant about coming- take the leap! You won't regret it. Namaste
