She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and was in DK then transported to Bostons childrens hospital where she was blessed to be treated for days in the MICU I have my angel because of Dr. Young. “I had Dr. King for two of my pregnancies and he was the most kind, respectful, intelligent OB I’ve ever had. I went through 3 OBs before I got to him and he is the best! 😊 There was a receptionist here that didn’t know what she was talking about, though. She told me I had to switch doctors at the end of my first pregnancy because supposedly they didn’t accept the new “Obama care” insurance that took effect around this time. She said they only accepted “straight MediCal”. Once Obama Care came around, I had to choose between IEHP and Molina… I don’t know how all of that works whilst still being considered MediCal… but she made me believe I had to switch doctors and I was devastated. When I got pregnant again, I decided to call and see if perhaps that lady didn’t know what she was talking about.. and behold, I was told by a different woman that they do accept IEHP. If not for that horrible receptionist, I would give 5 stars.”
