“After suffering severe pain from complications of total knee replacement while own PCP was on vacation and my surgical nurse could not schedule me to be seen for 3 to 6 days, Kristi, my Home Health and Hospice physical therapist, insisted that I must be seen. Since no one else could see me, she recommended Immediate Care nearby. Eventually, I was sent to the surgeon for x-rays, then to the hospital for an ultrasound. I was diagnosed with gout and a blood clot and started on medication immediately. Had it not been for Kristi's insistance that I be seen that day, who knows what would have happened. I'm forever grateful that HH&HC has such a competent physical therapist as Kristi.”
