First of all anyone saying that they waited 8hrs that due to walking in without an appointment. The other factors is that they don't have a big staff. And the employees aren't the rude and nasty one, the ppl that come in making demands and don't want to follow the rules of the office. Let's see you work in that environment and then you tell me how you feel after 8hrs of dealing with nasty ppl.

I actually was expecting an awful experience. I came prepared (all the required documents) AND I got there later in the day 3:15 ( they close at 4). The kiosk was clean and easy to use and I was in and out in less than a half an hour. Not sure if coming later made the differences - as the ee's wanted to get home. Everyone was polite - not necessarily friendly, but polite and efficient. This took a HUGE load of my shoulders. Yes, the local phone number is useless. At the end, the agent gave me a printed sheet with a code and the final sign up for SS was a snap.
