Nice! I loved the experience. I will definitely return next seadon
Nice quiet place to walk around and enjoy the view, nothing in particular to do there. Biking seems to be an attraction to the area with the park being a large circle you can bike around. There is a lake in the middle which gives the park a very nice relaxing tone especially at dawn. Overall a nice park to walk around and relax.
This place just keeps getting better. In its earlier days, the land was used as a quarry. Eventually, the whole that was dug was filled with water. When the project for the nature reserve first started the water was very dirty with machines even under the water. There were cranes all around and pipes everywhere. Since then, the community has come together to clean it up and make it their nature reserve. Kids from the Catawba Project plant trees and flowers while EHT Residents and public works go around to clean the place seasonally. It's a great place to go running, walking, biking, boating, or fishing. I love coming here with my family and friends to enjoy the nature. There are two parking lots which can get full quickly some days. No motor vehicles are allowed which means no quads, dirt bikes, or motorboats. They pollute the land. It is truly a nice place and if your visiting the area this is definitely a great place to see.
Its lovely there, you have the calm sounds of nature and the birds the buzzing of insects. Its dog friendly so,its great for your dog. My pup loved walking the trails and going down by the water. I loved it cause it was relaxing defiantly going again!
