“I receive treatment for my mental health disorders from Family Service Association of Absecon. The first time I called was to ask about how one could receive treatment at their clinic. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I set myself up with an appointment to be evaluated. The first appointment with them was an intake evaluation. I met with a therapist; she asked me a lot of questions about my mental health history, family history, and medical history. She also did a short evaluation (maybe 20 questions?) in which I had to rate the statements as true, maybe, or false (for me personally) on a scale of 1-5. In total I was there for an hour. A few days after the intake evaluation, my new therapist called me to set up our first therapy appointment. (I scheduled an appointment with a psychiatrist after my first therapy appointment.) The whole process was quick and simple. I have tried several other mental health clinics in the area but was unsuccessful in receiving proper treatment. Not only am I receiving appropriate treatment now, but I can personally see improvement of my mental health disorders. The staff is truly caring and understanding of people like myself. I have even had two of my therapist quit Family Service Association, but both times the clinic has quickly and efficiently dealt with the situation. This clinic has proven itself as amazing time and after time. I would recommend this place to everyone who is struggling with mental health disorders.”

“I had a great experience. I was able to get an appt in a little under a week which is remarkable for a specialist. I arrived at the office early and was in the room with x-rays taken before my actually appt time. He examined where my pain was then called for xrays. He then went over the x-rays with me and talked to me and explained exactly what he wanted me to do, why it should be done etc. The best part is after all that, I only need to come back if I am still having a problem unlike other doctors who have you come back to tell them you feel good.! I was very impressed with the friendliness of the office staff and the doctors.”

“This playground is wonderful! The equipment is perfect for kids age 2 and up. The ground is soft in case they fall. It's next to a great walking path and the local library branch. The only downside is if it's a really sunny day, the playground tends to be too hot to enjoy.”
