  I'm sure I reviewed this already. Open table just named it in the top 100 restaurants in the U.S.
  
  You will understand when you go there. Food is amazing, staff very friendly, and the owner Cookie is always there to insure all are happy.
  
  My issue is this. You can't book anything for the spring/summer until the first day of spring. Good luck with that. Phone is VM only. Unless you're lucky and standing in line outside, you most likely will not get a reservation on weekends between 5 and 9.
  
  I get it. They are busy, they have their regulars, and the food is great. In my mind that is a negative. I don't plan my summer around one meal. And that is when our family comes down
  
  So we go in the winter on occasion. Food still great then too

  His is my favorite restaurant in all of New Jersey and moreover, one of my favorite on the planet- and I travel a LOT! High quality food, cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. The ambiance may even be the best part. Live jazz music and ample seating. Oh! The banana cream pie is to die for.

  My wife and I came here for my birthday and had a terrific time. We booked a reservation and was able to get seated immediately. It was both our first time at Steve & Cookie's. The place was packed. Despite that, our waiter was able to get us our drinks pretty quickly. The wait for each course was perfect as well. They would check to make sure you're done with a certain course before bringing you your next dish. They would also ask you which order you want things to come out if you happen to order multiple appetizers. As for the food itself, we were blown away by how good everything was. This is definitely a great place for celebrations. I counted three other birthday celebrations other than my own that night and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Definitely recommend and can see myself making another visit in the near future.

  I love this place! The food is amazing and the bartender John is such a great guy! Also the dog painting is amazing! Great job mike bell! It also isn’t the first time I’ve heard the bartenders and waiters tell me how much they love their job and their boos Cookie! Definitely coming back!
