(February 23, 2019, 5:31 pm)How's Blimpies? I have been a patron of Blimpies since the late 1970s growing up in New York city. As I am able to recall, Blimpies was the first (if not one of the first) submarine/hoagie sandwich places I ate at. Their signature "Blimpie Best" has been the dish I have ordered the most frequently.
Chicken nuggets were better than what's served at McDonald's and Burger King. There should be more choices given for the dipping sauces.
This franchise has kept the tradition and has ordered their provisions from one of the better vendors whose meats have the consistent flavor and taste that I remember from my childhood. Their toppings are the same and doesn't have all of the veggie options that Subway has. But then again, the meats at Blimpies are better than what is sold at Subway joints (IMO).
Service is okay and the staff and management can do a better job at welcoming customers and being more attentive to ensure a satisfying experience.
