Cork & Crust Italian Mediterranean Kitchen

I went for lunch this afternoon and the food was fantastic. My friends and I split a few sandwiches and they were out of this world. This pizza crust was thin and crispy, perfectly cooked. The ambiance in this restaurant doesn’t compare to any other restaurant in Bergen County. Family owned and run, the service makes you feel like you are at home.

Forgot to add a picture of the escargot with pesto sauce-- very good with the garlic bread.... But they need to add more garlic bread to it. The best pasta was the linguine marechiara!

First time here. Came with a friend for dinner. Cozy and warm ambiance. Friendly service. The menu had several items that included truffles which is usually a good sign. They start with delicious warm crusty bread served with a dish of olive oil over butter (first time I see that). The portion sizes here are very hearty. We shared a good Cesar salad. I ordered the special - crab stuffed sea bass with roasted potatoes and green beans. It was good but not amazing which is why I’m taking one star off. Friend ordered pasta with chicken which she loved and couldn’t finish. Now the warm cookie with ice cream dessert was fantastic! A warm chocolate chip cookie cake, crusty on the outside, warm and gooey in the inside, served with vanilla ice cream. A great way to end a meal. I ordered the capellini with mushrooms and truffle to go and enjoyed that later at home, although it is probably best eaten fresh. I would definitely go back.

The large portions leave plenty to take home. The flavors were excellent. The pastas were cooked perfectly and not mushy. All of the produce and ingredients were quite fresh. BYOB is always a bonus.
