  This is the best place to stay in Santa Barbara!
  Breakfast is delicious and the gardens are quiet and beautiful.

  We had a nice time at this B&B which is several bedrooms in a house with a hosts sleeping in the basement. We were pleasantly surprised to a delicious homemade dinner. Safe and free on street parking, no pets allowed. Beautiful garden. Bathrooms are shared, but we were the only guests for our bathroom which was nice. Kitchen has everything you might need and the house overall has the "visiting grandma's house" vibe down to a T. Breakfast at 8am sharp but none of it was hot (not an issue) so we probably wouldn't have gotten up quite so early if we had realized that. Our double bed was rock hard, also not an issue for us but something to note if you have any back problems. The hostess is such a sweet lady and great cook which is why I rate 4 stars and not 3, and also because I don't rate small business low. But I would rate 3 because the host began a prolonged discussion about politics over breakfast - and by discussion, I mean we listened to him talk about his opinion on vaccine mandates and lying politicians. We were asked repeatedly don't we agree - we didn't, but our hesitancy to answer and vague "not really"s did nothing to quell the speech. It was thoroughly awkward for us, especially as a nurse. This occurance is still bothering me five days later. But overall a solid and homey place to stay.

  The history of B&Bs in the US began when people would let rooms in the homes to travelers passing through. This helped families through challenging times, such as the Great Depression. Often travelers would stay only one or two days, have breakfast with the family hosting the travelers, and then the travelers would fix or buy their other meals on their own.
  
  Patty and Jerry have captured the essence of a true B&B experience, but enhanced it with wonderful breakfasts catering to special diets, warm personalities, and a charming ambience. My travels kept me there way longer than the average, and they were very kind about my staying. They even stepped up and have given this mom a huge peace of mind leaving my college freshman 2100 miles from home.
  
  These two are kind. Accommodations comfortable and homey.
  
  Highly recommend and will be back.
  
  Only negatives like hotter shower and one twin bed is harder than I am used too. But they still get a rarely used 5 stars because everything else, including them as people, deserve this and a bonus star if allowed.
  
  Other bonuses: super close to UPS, Gig Harbor, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, and other attractions. If you need anything, just ask either one and they will do what they can.

  The proprietors were very, very hospitable. The facility was very clean and well maintained. I will stay there whenever I'm in Tacoma.

  The host is nice (we don't like, we love him) The B&B is perfectly situated, near Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood Bowl, Beverly Hills. So many nice talks by the breafast table The breakfast is GREAT The beds are so great

  Friendly service with great Gas price plus the coffee is always fresh& the manager never charges me for it. Also one day I had mechanical issues with my vehicle 2 of their employees help me& actually temporary resolved the problem. Thank you Shell for always looking out& making me feel home.
