(August 25, 2016, 2:11 pm)Dr. Mathews is truly an inspiration. I have known her for a number of years and what makes her so different is the way she genuinely cares for her patients. It is unique, that is something that can not be taught in medical school. She approaches each patient as a whole person with thoughts and emotions. Dr. Mathews is who you get each and every visit which is so nice to have someone getting to know YOU and not being shuffled around to different physicians with different treatment plans. She is consistent. She talks to them about diet, exercise, stress management, and so many other things that play a role in their overall health. She truly hears someone when they speak and each patient gets a slightly different approach. It is such a blessing to have her serving our community.
