“Hello everyone, My name is Sergeant First Class Fernandez, Alex. I have been serving the United States Army for the pass 11 years. I've been deployed equally to Iraq and Afghanistan four times and suffered combat related injuries. Being an infantryman (combat rifleman) is very physically demanding, constant hours on our feet with well over 100lbs on our back. I've been defending our nation for so long but for the pass nine years I've secretly been in lots of chronic pain. The pain will run through my legs, groin, back and shoulders. I've sought medical attention from our own military doctors and facilities but nothing seemed to help. These treatments consist of physical therapy, specialized stretches and sometimes narcotic pain medication.
