“I had for a number years had my prescriptions filled at another large pharmacy outlet in town. Sadly, they did not adhere to the hours of operation posted. Also, invariably, regardless of the time of day, the lines at drop-off and pick-up were always long. Also, the way the pharmacy is set up, there is no real privacy as unlike Walgreens', the other pharmacy had openings made with partitions not actual windows. The counter staff at the other large pharmacy chain were always very nice, but the actual pharmacists always seemed aloof and rather "defensive" with just about any or every question. When a member of my family was ordered to commence self-administering B-12 shots, that family member recognized that the syringe prescribed looked different from the one used at the hospital. That "other" pharmacy could offer no explanation. But at Wallgreens (just a short walk away) not only did the pharmacy staff explain the difference (easier to use in the prescribed size) but also demonstrated how the needle could be inserted (not piercing the skin). It really put the family member's mind at ease. That very day I switched ALL my prescriptions over to Wallgreens and NEVER looked back. But it's not just the Pharmacy staff, the store's entire staff is exceptionally helpful and pleasant. It is over all a very well run store! Kerry Gennace, 11/10/16”
