If I ever needed further explanation, I was able to email my instructors for extra help, which I enjoyed. The respiratory lab has all the ventilators that you'll see in the hospitals, and we were welcome to study them as we needed. Towards the end of the program, we spent a lot of time preparing for the board exams. The exams aren't easy, but I passed them on my first go :'-) The best part of it all is that they stay in touch after you graduate to see where they may be able to refer you for work.
