When I first heard that the company required payment on the credit card UP FRONT, before the move I was crazy. Who asks for all the money before the job is even started????? Apparently, that is the policy of this company. But when the guys did show up they worked FAST, they were careful with everything they moved, they wrapped everything well, they were kind, considerate, they moved furniture as needed for set up, they put everything together, they were amazing. In all my years of being in an industry that requires moving I have never worked with a better group of people. Kathy B. was so patient with me in explaining the payment policy and after determining the final cost of the move, CREDITED BACK MY DAUGHTER'S ACCOUNT for some $400 that was not needed for the job. WHO DOES THAT??? I will be referring everyone who moves in and out of my community where I rent apartments to use this team. They are the epidemy of TRUST.
Great moving company with an awesome staff. In particular a gentleman on their moving crew named Chris. He's not only friendly and professional he is also very considerate. Not all moving companies are the most careful with your furniture/belongings but the Simonik team is. I would definitely recommend them for any and all moving needs.
Polite and professional interactions. Staff made sure we were serviced and not just waiting around for service. The person providing service was knowledgeable of the financial side of the business and dates of service. Initial contact with this company was via phone and via video of the storage service we need. The person was friendly, professional. All documents were sent via email. All information pretaining to the move was clearly understood. The cost of the job we feel is with reason which includes one month of storage. That is great, this will permit us to clean and have new flooring installed. Thanks
The Simonik team was responsive and communicative from start to finish! I had two moves in one month...one for my 5 bedroom home with half of my belongings going into storage and the other half to my new home. It was over two days in 100 degree heat! The second was moving my daughter from one apartment to another in Philadelphia. It was the day of the biggest hurricane the region has seen in years! On both occasions the team was positive and didn't complain once in either situation. They also took care with my furniture, walls and went over and above to make sure my items went to the correct storage/house area. I highly recommend them. Their pricing was extremely fair despite it being the height of the moving season.
We highly recommend this company for your moving needs. Darnell (Saleem), Gerald and Travis were fantastic - they arrived on time (actually a few minutes early both days), each person greeted us, and then reviewed the work for the day. They worked well together, were extremely careful when packing and unpacking and never made anything seem too hard or difficult to manage. When they arrived to deliver our items on the second day, several rooms needed rearranged, and they took care of this unexpected part of the job (although it was pre-arranged, they weren't aware) and made sure that everything was to our liking. We couldn't have asked for a better company or three better movers. Highly recommended. While we don't want to move again, we are glad we found Simonik Transportation for the relocation!
