(December 26, 2017, 6:45 am)First time going to the Mansfield park lighting and it was great. Big toasty bonfire, free cookies and hot chocolate, a lengthy, enjoyable hayride through town, live performance of Christmas music by the local school, and even a nice setup with Santa for you to take your own pictures. You can tell this event is run by dedicated volunteers, who really put a lot of energy and effort into it. I was especially impressed by the participation of the local fire department, who tended and supervised the fire, directed traffic throughout town and were just pitching in where needed. Great event!
