“Very friendly, fast service. Very knowledgeable. I have used Fisher over the years for multiple appliance repairs. He once saved me both time and diagnosis $$ by troubleshooting a misbehaving wall oven over the phone for free. Based on the described behavior, he knew that one phase of my house power was dead. Sure enough, PSE&G came out and verified the diagnosis and had to replace underground wires leading to my home. My most recent repair unfortunately included a rather expensive assembly when only a small inexpensive part was broken. Apparently his parts supplier only provides the full assembly. After the fact, I checked online and quickly found the small part (instead of the whole assembly) from multiple sources. I blame myself for this because I had plenty of time to do the research online first and could have done the entire repair myself. Bottom line is the stove top is working perfectly now, my wife is happy :-), and I learned a valuable lesson (don't be lazy). I WILL certainly call on Fisher in the future if I come across something I can't handle.”

“I have been going to the Hawthorne Gallery for almost 20 years now. I live forty five minutes to an hour away from the shop and even though there are many other galleries and frame shops around me, I will only go to Hawthorne. Nick has never failed me. His expertise, knowledge, honesty and professionalism are unsurpassed. He listens to what you want and if you are unsure, provides you with the perfect options. With one of the last prints that I took to him, I had a very hard time knowing if I would truly like it when it was finished, as it incorporated a matting color that went with the print, but was not a color I would normally like. I listened to Nick and trusted his opinion. When I went to pick it up, the bottom of my mouth hit the ground. It was beautiful and is now my favorite piece. “I'm going to give this place a 5 star rating for my first visit. I went early so the place was pretty empty. The service was good and look forward to seeing how the service is on a busy night. The food was good. The next time I order I may have to specify a few things for example the corn was good but there was too much lime juice on it. The outdoor set up with the bar is nice.”
