(April 30, 2018, 5:37 pm)I have been a patient of Dr. Ronald Barbella, DPM, for about 10 years and have received nothing less than exceptional patient care from him and his staff. Dr. Barbella’s practice is a small, family owned business that achieves excellence in patient care and professionalism and goes above and beyond in developing trusting relationships with his patients. Doctor-patient communication is an incredibly important part of medicine that seems to be lacking among the medical community. In my experience, when I go to a doctor’s office, I spend majority of the time communicating with the receptionists and nurse staff, and little time is spent with the doctor (most of which is small talk). However, Dr. Barbella takes the time to listen to his patients, address their concerns, and do everything he can to ensure that is patient is receiving the highest standard of care. He is honest in his work and makes his patients feel valued and cared for – something that is rare to find in the medical community these days.
