I bring my whole family here as much as possible. It's great to see the seasonal changes in this beautiful Park. There's so much to see and explore. My kids especially love the boulder Garden, at least that's what we call it.
Great trails, well cared for, and love the new signs. Good job Burlington County Parks!
Great for exploring. Interesting river stone mounds. Can be a bit soggy. Boots needed after a prior days rain.
Beautiful park with enough trails to hike for an hour or more in the Delaware river. All flat and include some fields, woods, and river beach. Some trails are very wide and easy to walk with others that branch off and are narrow and more dense with trees and thickets. Great view of the Philadelphia skyline and another beautiful sport where the Rancocas and Delaware rivers meet.
I just discovered this place after several years in the area and I love it. Ther are about 2.5 miles of hiking trails, but it is very pretty with a very diverse ecology for such a relatively small area. There is a beautiful sandy shoreline along the Deleware river that is fantastic for a picnic, but check the tides as the beach disappears during high tide. I HIGHLY recommend Amico Island over the Palmyra Cove just down river as the river banks at Amico are quite clean versus the heaps of trash at Palmyra Cove. It is such a pleasure to have a natural park like Amico so close to Philly...even through you can see the city skyline from the banks, you feel like you're in the middle of the woods. I also see lots of people fishing.
