Camden County Surrogate

Made an appointment because that is what the surrogate office wants. You are only allowed 1 person with you when you go in. Make sure you have all the papers you need to present to the surrogate clerk. After all paperwork is looked over along with backup, they will then present it to the Surrogate Court.

If you're looking for a beautiful place to get married, look no further. I called to ask if we can get married and they were so friendly and answered all of our redundant questions. We said we wanted to get married and they told us they would call us closer to the time where they had openings for the ceremony. We got called back with dates and times. We asked if we could talk over the dates alone and called them back to give them our preferred time. We received an email with all of the information. 3 days before the ceremony we got a phone call to make sure that we were still on and to see if we had questions. We arrived early. The grounds are well maintained and stunning with many benches, picnic tables, and a gazebo you could get married under. The security guard held the door for us and was very friendly. There is a public unisex one stall restroom in the waiting area. You are then greeted by AJA who will take your license and type up the information. Then Michelle and AJA come out to ask if you want the ceremony in the waiting area or in the gazebo. She reads about two paragraphs to you you recite, share vows, kiss all the while Aja is taking photos. They made the experience wonderful and memorable and are in the right line of work because it seems they love marrying people.

Awesome visit!! Getting a short certificate for my mom's bank account. She died of Covid in 2020. Made appt. Was taken in right away. The security guard was very nice and polite. The surrogate Michelle, was SO nice.. we were in and out in like 15 minutes.
