The first time I walked into the building I felt surrounded by family. The people who attend here, whether it be Sunday services, bible studies, small group meetings, are such nice, accepting people. I work in the Nursery now and have gotten to know so many lovely families. If you need a smile, a hug, this is your place.
This is our home church. We’ve been attending for 26 years.
It was a change initially, from my up bringing of the traditional, old school church. But the warmth, kindness and eagerness of everyone was clear right away. It’s been exciting to be involved and see the growth in our church community. Especially exciting working with the youth and watching them grow and become strong leaders.
The music is soul touching and special.
There are plenty of small groups for anyone of any background to grow in their personal journey of faith.
Was very saddened to see the one negative review and I pray things have turned around for that person. But I know personally Hope has an intimate connection to those in recovery and has always been available and eager to help.
I do want to speak to the asking of donations.
It is always been a “free will” offer. I have seen how that money is used first hand within the church community and beyond. It would be great if money just fell from the sky to support families who are out or work, people who suddenly become ill or a spouse who dies and the family needs temporary support to keep their lights on.
I encourage everyone to not use asking for a donation as an excuse to not attend church. That goes for any church. If that’s what you’re focused on, the giving to help others, than maybe you should evaluate what you’re going to church for.
I can speak specifically what I know about. And I know about Hope. It is one place I absolutely place my trust. And that is very hard to win from me.
Love the craft shows
This is my home church, and I love it. There are 2 services at 9 and 10:30. Nursery for babies, Sunday school for up to 5th grade, then a middle school class, all of which are fun and welcoming. Everyone chats after service and we make an effort to welcome in new people.
