“After three years of trying to convince our mom to live at Brandywine Voorhees, she now says, “Why didn’t I do this sooner?” Now a resident at Brandywine for almost five months, Mom, who will be 100 in August, and although in fair health, needs proper care and assistance, has no time to sit home feeling lonely or depressed as she once did. Instead, her day is populated with an array of creative activities, entertainment, and enrichment programs in which she eagerly participates with the many new friends she has made. When I called her recently, she said, “I can’t talk now. I’m going to the movies,” as if she were a 16-year-old! My siblings and I are immensely grateful for the capable, caring, and compassionate staff at Brandywine Voorhees. Everyone, from the caregivers and nurses to the dining room servers and chef -- mom loves everything on the daily menus -- to the residents themselves, has given our Mom a sincere sense of belonging, security, and safety, not to mention love and friendship. As she said on her 2017 Christmas card (seen here) “Loving my new home at Brandywine.””

“The NJ Region of the American Red Cross hosted our golf outing with Woodcrest for the first time this year. Our guests raved about the beautiful and challenging course, the delicious food (especially the fantastic grazing station with the arancini, bruschetta, etc!), and the wonderful customer service. The venue and the people are so welcoming and the staff will bend over backwards to meet any need. Special kudos to Lauren in Event Sales and Billy and Mike in the pro shop! Can't wait to return next year.”

“3 years in--still overall 5 stars since my first review. Kitchen very small in comparison to other Conifer apartments and could use more closet space. Laundry room could definitely use an upgrade... Still very satisfied in terms of the location of the complex; quiet. Generally-- clean because the Maintenance Guy is amazing!!! great with response time to maintenance requests. Elevators always works. And there are game nights and other very nice activities for the residents. Most residents are very friendly. There appears to be a lot of incompetence and dishonesty on managements part BUT as long as you pay your rent on time, and don't ask for anything else-- you're good.”
