(September 19, 2018, 8:47 am)Staff was incredibly kind during stay. Cannot beat location, beachfront and a 5 minute walk to downtown. Very nice upkept pool. They also have a nice outdoor shower area for cleaning sand off. Rooms were a bit outdated, but still clean and comfortable. We visited on Labor day weekend, and were amazed that dolphins were feeding in the ocean directly across from hotel. They were there every time we went to the beach.

(August 21, 2018, 2:24 pm)I have been coming to Mt.Vernon for over 10 years. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, it’s quaint, quiet, with a perfect setting and the staff is always pleasant.
(July 26, 2018, 11:08 pm)Very well appointed motel. Room was neat, clean, had everything you could want and right across the street from the beach. Would definitely go back.
