(December 6, 2018, 2:40 pm)Lovely place to walk and go birding. You can go out toward the shore and it connects to the paths at Cape May Point State Park. Highly recommend a visit if in the area.

(August 10, 2018, 9:19 am)The Meadows one of the most peaceful and ecologically rich spots in Cape May and the entire Delaware Estuary. I am not a pro birdwatcher but this place is a great training ground: always shorebirds, herons, egrets, raptors (osprey, hawks) and tons of other stuff I can't identify. A network of connected tidal ponds, marsh boardwalks and upland forest zones create a lot of landscape variety along the many trail loops.

(July 26, 2018, 6:40 pm)I visited here July 22-23, 2018. I had been here twenty years ago and very little has changed. That's a good thing!
The walking trail is well maintained and offers many opportunities to see native wildlife. The beach access was the first time I'd seen the ocean in years.
In addition to the swallows, geese, and common birds, I got a chance to see the endangered oystercatchers and least terns. Seeing and osprey dive and bring out a fish from the water in the wetland area was a great treat.

(July 1, 2018, 4:16 pm)Great nature walk with the family. Looking closely we saw lots of small animals besides birds like bunnies and some tiny frogs. Great place to visit when we were looking to get away from the beach for a few hours.
