  This place is perfect if your goal is to find a clean place to stay for a low price. The woman who checked us in was friendly. The room has good lighting, a big fridge with freezer, and the heater worked great. It's a great deal!

  We have stayed here several times and plan to do so every time we visit the South Jersey shore. This is your basic, somewhat older style roadside motel, yet we return year after year....and every year the place gets better. The pool is one of our primary draws. We spend hours floating in the late afternoon after leaving the beach and the pool saves us when the beach gets too hot or there is an off-shore breeze, which can make life miserable. We were given an upgrade to a kitchenette this year and realized how much we loved it when we had the kitchenette in years past. We will always reserve the kitchenette in the future as it makes small ( 2 adults and one child) family life so much easier. The full size refrigerator / freezer, two burner stove, kitchen table, futon for my grandson and dishes/utensils is just enough to make living and eating comfortable and affordable for a shore visit. The staff is very helpful and friendly and I would have no problem contacting them if I was ever having neighbor problems, which we have NEVER had. The new addition of the grill area is stupendous. It just speaks to them wanting you to have a good time while staying there. I also have to compliment the management on the new mattresses in our room. We slept wonderfully and the air-conditioner hummed us gently to sleep. Everything was clean and worked and added to our comfort on one of the hottest weeks of the summer. We always come to this area of the NJ Shore and we have stayed in other motels and rental apartments. Once we discovered the Hyland Motor Inn we stopped looking at other rentals.

  Very nice staff - I called the night I needed a room due to some unforeseen circumstances and they were able to assist me. I had a room booked that night. Staff is so kind and the rooms were clean. Nice place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and will go back.

  They are amazing. Clean rooms I would call them apartments.. they have extra of everything you need for your comfort. They can't be 2 stars they are 5 star motel for me .. I found a stove and a full size fridge with freezer and utensils and plates and even a pan to cook in also I found dish soap ..the bathroom was super clean with a shower mat to use even. The service was beautiful. I needed a change of room from a 2nd floor to 1st floor as I am pregnant and with a smile they did the extra work and I was happy with the room they gave me. Won't forget the outdoors green and pool. Very understanding positive attitude. Big rooms will complete kitchen..I can't say enough for an $80 room/night. Thank you guys.. loved my time at your place. Will be back with family
