  I don't go to OCNJ without finishing the day with some Hobby Horse ice cream. Fantastic quality, many flavors, huge portions, reasonable prices. Some of the best ice cream I've had anywhere!

  We visit Hobby Horse each time we vacation in OCNJ. Delicious flavors to choose from and the staff is very friendly. The gentleman who assisted us was particularly helpful and kind towards our young kids who couldn’t decide on flavors by offering samples and being extremely patient. We always make a point to get to Hobby Horse and look forward to our next visit.

  After walking to the opposite end of town to the Johnny B Goods ice cream shop, which would not serve us ice cream even though it was supposed to be open for 10 more minutes, we only wanted 2 ice cream cones!! My friend called the owner of the Hobby Horse shop and they said they would stay open for us, so we walked to the other end of town, he had locked his door since it was past closing BUT he opened his shop and he scooped us our 2 ice cream cones to make our vacation day complete! One of the best places to go! Plus has a great photo opp. For you and your kids with the horse out front!!Thank you!!

  Every time we go to Ocean City beach, we end the day here. They have a huge selection of delicious ice cream, and parking has NEVER been an issue for us.
  
  It's going to be fun to look back over the years at how the kids have grown through our series of photos from the back of the hobby horse in front of the entrance... A yearly tradition :)

  So many absolutely delicious flavors to choose from! I can't say that I have ever been disappointed. If you go on the earlier side in the summer, the lines are much shorter, but it is always worth the wait.
