  We travelled here from Cape May after reading the reviews, since a lot of the CM restaurants are closed this time of year (January). It was a great decision. We started off with their fire roasted peppers in a balsamic glaze and it was amazing. Then salads, house dressing and their bread with a roasted garlic and oil dip, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I had their pescatore passomonti, but in a white wine sauce with the lobster tail, and it was just a perfect dish, lots of flavor, the little next clams were small and sweet the calamari were sliced in thin rings and were delicious. We finished with their cheese cake with fresh berries and it's was a perfect ending to a great meal. Amber took verify good care of us too.

  Basilicos is our go-to place for family dinners down the shore. It's our favorite place to get Italian food and while it's a little pricy, it's always worth it. The fact that it is BYOB is a plus in my book.
  
  If you go for dinner, definitely make a reservation. This will prevent you from having a long wait since this place is super popular. We each always order an entree which comes with a house salad with the BEST homemade salad dressing. You can ask to buy a bottle to take home!
  
  I usually go with the linguini & clams. Their portions are enormous and we always walk out of here with a lot of takeout boxes, which justifies the price a little bit. Today I went with the lasagna granchio (it's lasagna in a white sauce with crab meat). It was extremely rich and decadent, and I only ate maybe 1/3rd of it since it was super filling. There is a ton of crab meat right on top. It was so delicious that I'm looking forward to the leftovers!
  
  The wait staff is very friendly here. Our server handled our party of 7 like a pro and our food came out quickly on a busy Saturday night! Basilicos is one of the highlights when we visit sea isle :)

  Basilicos bang bang shrimp!!! Need I say anymore!! Excellent service, friendly waitresses, and an environment that is enjoyable to eat a good meal.

  This is a perfect place if your looking for a nice meal while on vacation. I understand it is very difficult to get seated, but the restaurant does take reservations. We went on a wed night and called ahead and were able to secure a table for 4.
  
  The pasta dishes were very good, and the service was exceptional. It is slightly more expensive then I would expect, but it is in Sea Isle.
  
  My wife had the halibut, and I had the chicken parm. Pictures of both were added. I would highly recommend this location for families, but just plan ahead and call in advance.
