“On my first vacation to Cape May my boyfriend’s mother suggested we try George’s. She mentioned it was Greek and had both breakfast and lunch during the daytime... so we tried it... and then we tried it again the following day. We love this place! It’s quaint and cozy, they play some great tunes over their speakers, the black and white pictures of the owner and his sons add so much character, the waitstaff is friendly, polite and extremely attentive... oh and the food, well if you enjoy a good Gyro I definitely suggest trying this place during trip. It was inexpensive and extremely enjoyable. This is definitely a hidden gem and a place I look forward to returning to!!!”

“Me and my boyfriend stayed here while on a 5 day vacation. We weren't at the hotel much except to sleep and maybe stop in for a nap, but it when we were there it was lovely. The bed was AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!! Lots of people complain about the room size, but it didn't bother us. The a/c in the room was nice considering it was a very hot week. The whole parking situation was a little confusing at first, but we got used to it quickly and didn't mind it. Almost everything you need is within walking distance anyway! There really isn't anything to complain about! Staff was very friendly and hotel was super clean! Definitely would stay here again if we ever vacation in Cape May again!”

“Great night. I wanted to go to a restaurant that was dog friendly after a day at the beach with my puppy. They have a dog menu which I thought was a nice touch. The regular menu had a lot of variety and my food was very good. I loved the outdoor dining atmosphere. Nice casual restaurant that is also dog friendly.”

“Pulling up, we were suspicious. Curb appeal isn't a priority, to be sure. But stay the course! Good Earth offers a sophisticated menu and a relaxed atmosphere. The core menu is organic and vegan, but with seafood offerings that were swimming about that morning. It is a perfect place for a relaxed lunch with some of your favorite people. Save room (or just chat till you have digested a bit) for the shockingly delicious deserts, especially the house made vegan gelato.”

“This hole in the wall hot dog stand it quickly becoming our tradition. The place has personality! Ok it's the owner but him, combined with the location and his awesome hot dog flavor combinations make it a place to remember. I got Chicago dog, Suzy dog, wife got the chili dog and one with his home made kraut. We couldn't keep our hands off each other's. “The Star is part of the Cape Resorts empire - so if you arrive on a week day you can check in at the main desk of Congress Hall. They have different sized rooms. Ours was quite small and cozy - on the 3rd floor of the main building there (The Star is really two buildings). Everything is as it should be - clean and pretty. House keeping checks on you twice a day - once in the morning, and then once in the late afternoon in case towels need replacing and beds need straightening.”

“My husband and I visited this place one evening of our vacation, as we were looking for just a casual dinner in between nights of upscale seafood. The pizza selection is impressive, and I had a hard time deciding because they all looked so good. We went with one of the white pizzas (Florentine), and it was excellent: satisfactorily cooked, with plenty of cheese and toppings. I have a serious gluten allergy, and was very pleased that the pizza was sent out uncut, with a clean pizza slicer, so we could be sure it was not contaminated during slicing. The size (12") is great for a gluten-free pizza. My husband and I were barely able to finish one pizza between us. We also shared a house salad, one of the two simple salads on the menu that were cheaper than the other salads, so I assumed it was probably a fairly small side salad. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion of that as well. There were plenty of fresh carrots, tomatoes, red onions, and olives in it. Finally, our service was OUTSTANDING; we had a very competent waitress who checked in often and clearly was extremely capable of taking care of a dining room on her own. This is a place we would visit again without hesitation. Cape May needs more affordable and casual eateries with great food like this.”

“It's not often that the whole dining experience is amazing from the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. That was our experience on Thursday, January 3rd 2019. First off, the beautiful historic building was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Our coats were taken at the front door and we were seated right on time for our reservation. The tables in the room we were seated in were far enough apart to enjoy private conversation. We were then greeted by Peter, our server for the evening. He was very helpful with making sure accommodations were handled for a food allergy. We know the menu changes but between the two of us our hanger steak and NY Strip were cooked to perfection and tasted even better. Peter also surprised us with a mid meal course of scallops! Attention to detail was evident at every step of this dining experience. We had a wonderful evening here during our honeymoon and can't wait to go back any chance we get!”

“A fun spot combination : Gas Station, Cafe, gift shop, and local news paper. Unique for sure and definitely not a beach hot dog stand. The food is a fun up scale Thai fusion with some great salads.
