“Came by closer to closing since I got off work late and wanted something quick to eat. They didn’t have any plain slices left (cleaning up) and the smallest pizza they could make it was a personal ($6.50, Oct 2018). I only had a $5 on me and didn’t want to use my card, the cook Adam was able to work with me on the price down to $5. He told me “I never send anyone home empty.” which made me feel great. Even when the pizza was done, he said, "Go ahead, take an Arizona (Iced Tea) for the road, pay me back next time!" I declined, but was a very warming offer. Awesome place, recommended to anyone.”

“I have been here twice. Both times we left full and happy! Large, delicious portions for sure! My picky son devoured the pizza????. My biggest observance this trip was that it was obvious they use and extremely good quality mozzarella in their dishes. The cheese stretched for miles and it had a nice mild flavor. It was not greasy or rubbery like some places serve. More of a locals place than touristy spot, which is also good. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. We’ll be back for sure!”

“Just ate at Riva with my family.. There was a great family atmosphere with wonderful ambiance and the option of indoor or outdoor seating. The crab cakes were to die for and all the seafood was very fresh. My family also split some classic Italian dishes, which were all delicious as well. My family was happy with everything they ordered, which is rare because they are very picky. The staff was friendly and attentive and we were very pleased overall with our dining experience at Riva!”

“Great stop on our road trip! After the ferry, we stopped for a quick bite. Everyone happily greeted us, seated right away, and once we ordered, our meals came out quickly. Service was prompt, and cheerful. We'd easily recommend this roadside tavern, with separate dining room from the bar, which was also well attended to everyone. From start to finish the service, the prices, the ambience, and especially the food were all excellent. It was the first ever in my life I had to ask for a take out container. The portion size on everything we order, from appetizers to soup and salads, to the main meal were enormous. I would have loved to order dessert just to see the size of that but I didn't since I was comfortably full. Maybe next time because I will definitely be coming back.”
